What is Echinacea?

Echinacea With Astragalus is a unique herbal blend of two of the most popular herbs, designed to give you all the benefits in a convenient vegetarian capsule.

Echinacea (Echinacea purpurea) also known as purple coneflower, a perennial herb that is native to the central to southeastern areas of the United States. While it only grows wild in the US, it is widely cultivated in Europe. Echinacea grows up to twenty inches in height, producing large, beautiful, daisy-like purple flowers. The “cone” of the flower is prominent and distinctive.

Astragalus  (Astragalus membranaceus) commonly called Astragalus, Chinese Milkvetch, Yellow Vetch Astragalus Huang Qi, Huang Qui, Huang-qi, Chinese Astragalus, Membranous Milk Vetch and Milk Vetch Root. The plant that the root comes from is about 16 to 36 inches tall, and is native to China, Mongolia and Korea. The root is usually harvested from plants that are 4-years old. While there are more than 2,000 species of Astragalus, there are only two related species A. membranaceus and A. mongholicus that are primarily used for health purposes.
